Uppsala & Gotland Universities finally merged

“As Gotland university becomes Uppsala University Campus Gotland 1 July 2013, the Master Programme in International Management  will converge into The Master Programme in Sustainable Management”

Starting in the summer of 2013 Uppsala University campuses will not all be in Uppsala. Our newest campus will be on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea and called Campus Gotland.

Uppsala University will be offering two international master programmes on Gotland, the Master Programme in Windpower Project Management and theMaster Programme in Sustainable Management.

Campus Gotland is located in the heart of the delightful Visby. Visby is an ancient medieval town where everything is within convenient walking distance. For more information about Gotland read here.

Here’s an excerpt:

Make yourself at home in Tokyo

After my first encounter with this WordPress blog where I compiled some of my experiences in Sweden while being a Master´s student, I decided to continue with the tradition. Therefore I set up a new space that intends to share with the reader my experiences in Nippon lands.

I will be living in Tokyo at least for the following year 2012. More than boring you with data I will try to point out those facts that impresses me the most through the eyes of my camera since like the saying reads “a picture is worth a 1000 words”. I invite you to come with me and get lost in the immensity of Tokyo’s streets and the vast richness of the Japanese culture. Please, come in and delight your senses…www.tokyo-on.com

S.T.I.C.S – Apocalips by Philip Koziarski

Would you like to work with 3D design or animation? why not both at once?

If you are interested, the video below represents the sort of projects that you may work with when studying Cinematic 3D graphics design and animation. This video clip is the work of Philip Koziarski, a last-year student of Filmisk gestaltning 3D-grafik och animation at Gotland University, who designed, filmed and animated the entire project on his own. The group on the video clip, S.T.I.C.S is a Swedish band that diverts against the normal conception of  modern hiphop & soul inspired by the multicultural roots of its singers (Denmark, Sweden, Bosnia & Zanzibar). Personally I think that both the video and the song are great… enjoy it 😉

Visit S.T.I.C.S at myspace if you would like to listen more of their music.

On the contrary if you have some comments regarding the video you can contact its designer at, Philip_fprn_8@hotmail.com
